DOES THE MATERIAL MOVE BACKWARDS AND FORWARDS IN THE MACHINE?

In order to optimize the tool path it is often necessary to move the material not just forwards but also backwards a short distance to find the minimum path for the turrets to improve the speed.

If the workpieces require a lot of machining, the best feeder for the purpose is Dalcos VEGA feeder with two clamps moving in opposite directions: in fact the pneumatically or hydraulically operated clamps grasp the material and move it with precision forwards and backwards (as do sheet-fed punching machines) for a length of approximately 200mm.

After completing the required machining the machine passes on to the next 200mm area. The system with two moving clamps (patented) is also very fast since it requires no recovery time unlike the versions with just one moving clamp.
