Home > F.a.q. > How does coil processing save material

A great number of industrial products have a regular and mostly rectangular shape. Long perforated strips and notched panels generate products such as switchgears, lighting fixtures, machined profiles, tool boxes, doors, windows, filter frames, agricultural products and others.

These products can be positioned on a strip so that two edges correspond to the edges of the coil with the result that only the punching scrap has to be eliminated and no skeleton remains, while in traditional sheet-fed punching machines and laser cutters reaches even 25%.

With Dalcos nested-based machining technologies can also be used on irregular shaped products, always saving material compared to traditional technologies.
